Airbag light HP tuners questions
My airbag light is on but when i check fault codes with hp tuners i cant see any codes. Cant i see what sensor that is bad with HP tuners? Or do i need a tech II?

Tech II.
Another is an Autoenginuity with the GM add on.
99% of thes scanners out there will only read P-codes. They will not read B, C or U codes and that is where the code will reside.
Any more background on the Air Bag light? How long? Were you doing any repairs or RRs that are related to when you saw the light?

99.9% of the time it is the connector under the seat. Very common issue. Adjusting the seat causes the connection to go bad. If you wiggle it or push it together and zip tie it, it will fix it.

HPT can only access engine and transmission computers, so won't work for this

Connector just comes loose. No cable damage. Just push the connector back together. Then run a zip tie or some way to hold it together.

The reason I wasn't trying to guess and give you the most common cause 99% of the time. And the reason I asked you some questions. Back to the questions - Did you receive the car like that? Did you do any work anywhere on the car that is coincidental to the light coming on? For example, have you had any of the air bags disconnected? Steering wheel off?

i just got the new sensor but it dont fit the connector in the door
On the passanger side i have a sensor with number 10302876 and in the new door the sensor number is 10362536.
any my fault code is airbag code: B0079 Incorrect LF/Driver SIS Installed
Should it be the same sensor in both door or is it one right and one left sensor?
