Default Vitesse Controller

I know this gizmo doesn't need another comment, but I am impressed enough to be compelled to say something. This thing should be standard equipment on all Vettes. Best $189 I've ever spent. If you don't have one, don't wait any longer.

Yes, SC. I very much like the VC on NA cars, was thinking of doing that when I was NA. Now that I am FI and tuning it I wouldn't want to be dealing with external changes to commanded throttle.

I would be very hesitant to dial up the throttle response on a SC car also. It's hard enough to keep the rear wheels planted on any setting above 5 with a NA LS3.

I am working on refining my tune after SC install. One critical point is the "entry point" for PE. I have my tune configured to trigger PE off throttle position. E38 ECUs have a very odd set of modifier parameters the ECU uses to come up with a final value selection. So, for example, if I set OL to occur at 19% TC, I might get PE at 58% throttle. Depending on how you roll into boost you could be at 5000 rpms and still in CL. An external TC would further complicate that.

Hey this is several days old but i have a feal flat spot, almost hesitation off idle unless I kick in boost by opening throttle. I have a afr guage and it is at 15 to 16.5 or so. At WOT Im at 11 to 12. (There are several settings on the guage some I dont get yet)
I was thinking about trying this throttle enhancer thing. Has anyone tried it on SC cars?

I have one on mine and it works fine. Run mine on 5.
Your AFR is lean. put some more fuel at it before you tear it up.

Under normal conditions I run mine on setting 6, but when adverse conditions dial it down to 3 or 4. What I really like about this thing is being able to put it in economy mode when driving in stop and go traffic. The Diablo Intune did wonders for the tranny but this is an amazing addition.
