I'd just open the owners manual and follow the instructions. Pretty simple to program................................. ..............
OK, I get it now. Don't try to program your fob.

Have you tried them in the glovebox slot? My first thought would be a low car battery.

Thanks, any idea what causes that to happen?

Do not attempt to do any reprograming on the fobs. They do not lose their memory.

I agree and was writing something to that effect when EV beat me to it. LOL

Put a charger on that battery.

NO! NO! You don't need to reprogram fobs. All you can accomplish is to wipe out the programming if you have a problem while trying it.

Fobs don't become un-programmed just laying around.

As previously indicated above, probably a low car battery.

And, it is also an easy fix to change the FOB batteries. It's a little strange both would go dead at the same time, but still about a $5 fix, and it can't hurt to do.

Make sure you don't have a phone charger plugged in.

The slot in the glove department worked, thanks. My local chevy dealer wanted to tow it in and run a diagnostic check
