I use Red Line D4, made a huge difference in the way it shifted.

For shifting, not really IMO.

For protection and reliability, yes. Amsoil torque drive.

Same here, didn't notice any change.

Ive been reading a lot about this and it seems like redline D4 atf
and amsoil are the go to oil. Seems like low mile babied cars
dont see a difference but high mile cars driven hard will see improvement.

Its more of worn old oil vs fresh oil. Fresh new OEM fluid would probably have same effect.

Most any new fluid is going to be a great improvement over your old oil.

I ditched my oil at 45k and I was having trouble getting into 3rd when hitting 7k rpm. Oil was terrible and should have been changed years ago by the first owner of my car.

New oil and you can feel it shifting better in every gear and no more missed shifts at all.

Default Look into Anti Venom mod

I did the mod on my C5Z06 and it did help the shifting .

Do a search to see if it is applicable to the C6 model.

Basically you are adding one or two copper washers at the rear diff shift detent bolt which in some cases helps the shift notchy feeling.

I also did a change in the fluids prior to the mod and did not see much improvement. My C5 had only 28K miles .
