Default To drive or stare at her.....

Hi EVERYBODY,
SITTING HERE WATCHING THE 59TH RUNNING OF THE DAYTONA 500 AND I CAN'T GET IT OUT OF MY HEAD WHAT I'M GOING TO DO! I HAVE 5200 DOLLARS LEFT OUT OF A 20K BUDGET FOR AN EXTENSIVE ENGINE BUILD(604HP) MASSIVELY UPGRADED MY Z51 SUSPENSION & BRAKES(BREMBO) AND OTHER THAN KNOWING ABOUT A GRAND WILL GO TO MY NEWER 2ND SET OF TIRES ON MY 2ND SET OF WHEELS, 2K FOR MY CLEAR BRA NEXT WEEK, THE 1K QUESTION IS..... ANOTHER SET OF ( TRULLY LOVE) PROXES R888'S OR THOSE NITTO'S EVERYBODY RAVING ABOUT. WHAT ARE THEY???N1, N2'S??? MY DELIMEA IS THIS. I HAVE WAITED A DECADE TO GO ON ABOUT HALF A DOZEN 100 MILE PLUS DRIVES. SO DO I GET ANOTHER SET OF " OMG" STICKY TIRES OR JUST GO WITH THE RUN OF THE MILL MICHELIN CUP? OK,OK, SAY WHAT YOU WANT BUT NO MICHELIN HOLDS A CANDLE TO PROXES OR NITTO'S. OK, YOUR ASKING WHAT TYPE OF DRIVES..RT? CURVY. HIGH SPEED. MOUNTAINOUS. F. U. N.! ILL B HONEST, I'M NOT RICH BUT NOT REMOTELY POOR. AND THE THOUGHT OF TAKING EVEN 6 OF THESE DRIVES( SAY 750 MILES) THE WAY I DRIVE MY PROXES WOULD BE READY TO BE TAKEN OFF AND SOLD. THEY WUD BE 65 TO 75% GONE. PAY 2 PLAY. PAY 2 PLAY! OK. IS THERE ANY SEMI NORMAL " STREET" TIRE THAT HOLD A CANDLE TO THE R888 OR NITTO? THANKS IN ADVANCE. ROB. LA/CA

R compound tires are R compound tires, no summer tire for daily use is going to grip like an R does. The NT01 tire costs a lot less than the 888 and are good down to the threads, so your lifespan should be noticeably longer than it is or was with the 888.

Don't take my word for it, read reviews.

I don't know how you drive, or intend to drive but it sounds like you are going to need all the grip you can get if you plan to have 600+hp.

YEA, UR RT! SINCE I POSTED THAT, I BOUGHT THE R888R's. I figured there is no way i was taking a chance on safety and even tho u cringe at the thought of ur rubber wearing while hwy driving getting to ur fun drive, it is what it is and so far nothing matches the '8R's. Simply awesome. Thnks n tk care. Ps. N the end...just shy of 6@ the crank. Its funny, after spending all i did, im driving it even less!! Go fig
