Drag radials. Nitto Nt50 R on a GS?
A racer at the track recommended Nitto Nt50 R drag radials for the C6 GS. According to the Nitto website, they don't have a tire that fits the 19" GS rims. Their 19" tires are P305/35R19 LL and P345/30R19 LL vs the specs on the run flats: 325 /30 R19.
Will either of the Nittos fit? Any other suggestions for drag radials?
Thanks!

If you ever think about getting a little more serious, then treat traction in a serious way initially and you won't need to change until it becomes a dedicated track car if you ever go that far.
I'm assuming you're old enough and wise enough to not get sucked into street racing. So use whatever you like in stock sizes on the street, but run Hoosier 275/40x17 DR's at the track for maximum traction.
Wheels can be cheap or pricy, but lightweight is best. Low cost preferences in order of increasing weight are: C5 Z06 fronts, C4 A-molds, C4 sawblades, and C4 salad spinners, all in 9.5 x 17 sizes.
If you go for aftermarket wheels, keep the weight under 20#.

Thanks! Nitto nto5r 345 30 19’s on order from Jeg’s. Man they are proud of these tires!
What’s the best tire pressure and burn out procedure?
Don’t worry I’m too old, and hopefully wise, to race on the street.
We already have one dedicated track car, running Hoosier 10.5 X 26, 15” Drag slicks. Agreed, for dragstrip only they are great!
Hope to exercise some restraint with the C6 mods, but you know how it is.
