Yank Pas 34-3800 ussers
The main questions I have is which stall you using, what rpm does it fash to off the line and how much hp your making?
The Pas converters seemed to be use more by the vette crowd but I'm still having trouble findind a lot of info on them. My car is 02 camaro, 400" srroker, SS4000, 4l60e, 9" with 411's, 28" tire and raceweight 3800. Car dyno'd 502/415 unlocked showing 15 pecent slip at 7000rpm. I have 3 passes at the track on it and it ran 10.7@126. The SS400 is flashing to 48-5000 and showing 12-13% slip at the stripe at 7000rpm. I do plan to spray it some when at the track,, looking to spray 150. My converter is in the mail on the way back to yank now, Dave is recomending switching to a Pas and probably the 3400 for when spraying. My cam is pretty big at 251/266 and worried the 3400 may be to tight for it on the street.
Thanks for any help.

I have the 3400 pas and a little more power 550 whp n-a no power adder ran consistent 10:5
Flashes to 4,600.
Have another car with 650 whp n-a with the pro yank 3600 flashes to 5400.
Both converters drive tight around town which I love and if based on my experience I was to suggest you a converter for your stated purpose will fist start by saying Dave is rite if you were to reuse the present converter is the 3400 pas.
However the absolute best for your app is the pro yank that converter is a monster.

Thanks xBoostx. Im assuming your 550whp with the Pas3400 was locked on the dyno? If thats the case that would put us pretty close in the power range given I was unlocked and had a decent amount of slip. I thought the SS4000 was going to do better after seing quite a few Ls7 vettes with 4l60 swaps having good luck. My converter only has dyno time, 3 passes and under 50 miles on it so I dont want to ditch it yet. Thanks again

Next time I will buy the triple disk but only so I can lock it up, but this pas convertor gets two thumbs up..

Yank told me do NOT lock the pas3400 in 4th -6th in no uncertain terms. They said to buy a triple disk for that. I do have a lot more power but he didn't infer that was the reason.r

I tested the SS400 on my 440 ls7 at Dave's recommendation and it blew rite true so I know it will not be good for spray that's how I ended up with the pro yank.

With the ss4000 in I'm definitely pushing through the converter. But it definitely helped with the launch 1.48 60' with stock springs and shocks on 295/55/15 et streets. On the logs rpm shoot straight 4000 then converter tries coupling and rpms increase at about a 75 degree angle to 5200 where it really couples. Shifting at 6500 I get 800rpm extension. If this converter was a little more efficient up top I'd be happy and try spraying a little on it. But with 12 percent slip now and tranny taking some heat already its not worth even trying. I have my old ptc4000 (spec for h/c/i ls1) converter laying here that I threw in to try. Forgot my computer cable that day so i couldnt log it. Made 2 passes with it. It hit hard of the line about 6000 on the tach and spun, peddled it to a 1.8 60' and gaind 2mph in the 1/8th over the yank. But it put me on my limiter at 7600@122mpn.
Hers a 1.48 60', it leaves so smooth. It was 93 degreed that day i think its a sweaty finger print on camera lens making it clowdy.

The pas makes a little more power when locked on the dyno but torque drops big time, the pas makes insane amounts of torq.

I had it locked at first and emailed dave who said no locking it on the dyno
