Default Want Parts To Add HUD To Your C6? Get The Complete Kit From CULTRAG Performance!

Hello All,

We have put together a C6 HUD kit of our own to offer our forum friends and customers. We wanted to do it right and make it our goal to offer a complete kit so I’m finally happy to say we’ve accomplished our goal.

CULTRAG Performance C6 HUD Kit - $439.99

Click on the link below to order.
http://www.cultragfactoryparts.com/c...-kit/c6hudkit/

The kit includes the following items:

GM HUD Bezel
GM HUD Switch
GM HUD Projector
GM Hardware, Including Nuts & Bolts
Custom Wiring Harness W/Splice Connectors

We also provide a complete step-by-step installation downloadable document courtesy of Corvette Forum member PCMusicGuy. Also with our custom harnesses we provide a business card of a very popular forum HUD installer in the event you have any questions or concerns before or during the installation.

We provide the instructions as a download on our website!

It depends on your skill level, but I would estimate 6-8 hours.

Took me 3-4 hours the first time using the method where you cut the AC duct. Very simple a straight forward, for anyone with any mechanical skills.

That sounds very reasonable. It just depends on the overall mechanical skills.

How does this work without a HUD windshield? Is a HUD windshield just a myth? I'm new into the C6 world. I was looking at windshield prices for info purposes and two different windshields were listed, one for a HUD and one for non-HUD. Just confused.

They work and look completely fine without the HUD windshield.

My 2008 base coupe has an OEM HUD. If I needed to replace my windshield, could I get a non-HUD windshield without any degradation to the quality of the HUD? The HUD windshields are considerably more expensive than a non-HUD windshield.

You would not notice the difference. Really, there does not appear to be any visual differences.

This is the factory original equipment item so it will be green. Andrew here on the forum can hook you up with different colors.

I'm interested in this HUD kit. Do you also install? If so, how much?

Thanks, Eric

We do not install sorry. But there is Andrew here on the forum who does and occasionally travels around for group installs

Mine arrived Friday. Most likely will be a winter project.

I installed mine a couple winters ago. My garage is normally unheated but I did heat the garage up well before hand and also pointed a heater into the car a coupe hours before I started. Did not want to risk the cold plastic breaking.
