[Z06] Are Old Bald Guys the only ones that like the corvette??

An old thread, but I'll play.
I'm 73 and going thru my 6th mid-life crisis now.
I had my first Corvette crisis at about 28 and I've had many more since.
I currently own a C5 and a C6 Z06 along with my 56 Chevy truck.
I'm still just a guy that loves his toys and am very happy for 43 years with Anne, so no young chicks needed here.
At 73 these may be my last ones, I'll probably drive one until health doesn't allow it.
I own and drive them for my enjoyment and don't worry about what others think about it. Enjoy your rides.

Wow, talk about resurrecting an old thread!
OK, so I am 62, not fat but I am balding, I own two 'vettes, bought my first one in 1980 at age 26 and I was not fat, nor balding...just wanted to drive the baddest, only true American sports car so I did. Sold it 3 years later and then raised my family, like most of us had no time or money for corvettes. Bought my next one in 2004 at age 50, was not fat nor balding but finally had the kids out of school and the resources to afford corvettes again. The problem with the stereo type is that most of us took a hiatus to raise our children and by the time we finish that we are in our fifties. The corvette still kicks a$$ on a global scale so what's the big deal...I will never own a Porsche or a Ferrari, not because of the price but because nothing is better than a corvette...period, IMO.

40, all of my hair, and strong / in shape for my age: 5'8" 174 LBS, ~13% BF. I need a hair cut every 3-4 weeks, my hair grows so fast.

Wow...OP is talking demographics and discretionary income.
10 pages of replies.
Bald/ shaved head is an asset for Corvette convertible ownership...so yes.
Age related bald or not typically can only need a two seat car...one for self other for their escort...so yes.
As for liking it seems the street homeless always give an Okay to vette drivers....so no.

There also appears to be a healthy compliment of douche-bros that are acquiring these cars as of late as well. Tons of HP, low weight, it's the perfect recipe for a pre-pubescent ego trapped inside a 20-30 something body.
