C6 Z06 vs. Fiero
Hey all. Just wondering, what do you think is going to be faster for everyday around town errands, a new '06 Z, or a used Pontiac Fiero?
For example- grocery runs, picking up/dropping off the kids, getting to/from happy hour, etc.
On the one hand, the Z is awesome looking and would obviously be brand new. But that could draw too much attn if one desires to stay, say, under the radar.
On the other hand, the Fiero won't attract as much attn (and they are quite zippy, I might add), but obviously is not new. Or very attractive for that matter.
I just can't decide what I'd rather have. It's driving me .
Maybe I should try a poll?
Please help. Thoughts?

In my opinion, Pontiac holds the record for the most unusual looking cars (designed to appeal to the performance sector) for at least the past 20 years.
Fiero jokes aside, who designed the front end of the last TransAm?

I don't really understand your question. For everyday errands, I'd probably rather use a POS Fiero so that I could park anywhere and not have to worry about it. However, from your post, it sounds like you currently don't own either one and are either considering buying a used Fiero or a new C6 Z06. That to me makes no sense and if it is the case, hands down, it would be the Z06!

Oh PuhLEASE!
Everyone knows the Fiero is better. I mean first off, you can buy a 4Cylinder Fiero and put a V8 (Both Small Block Chevy and NorthStar) into it, doubling the number of cylinders it has.... How many kits are there that double the number of Cylinders in a Z06? NONE!
Second, the Fiero is so much cooler looking, cause you can fit it with a Lamborgini Countach Body
How many Lamborgini Coutach body kits are there for the Z06? NONE!
Third and Finally the Fiero is a True Mid (rear) engine car. And we all know a mid engine car is an Exotic and allways handles better. Come to think of it Here are 12 images I found on Google of a Fiero at an Autocross. how many images have I seen of a C6 Z06 at an Autocross? NONE! so obviously it's the better handling car that all the pros are using.
Only posers that wish they had a Fiero drive Z06's.

Fiero vs. Z06
Try looking at this from a purely economical standpoint. The Fiero has roughly 40% of the perfomance of the Z06, for only 3% of the cost. Fiero is a true value! And don't overlook that fact that Fiero prices will likely to be on the rise as the cars establish themselves as prized collectables, while the Z06 will depreciate for many years before prices begin to rebound.

Those '84's are some nasty fast cars! Just think, if you buy a mint, low mileage Fiero for $1,600, you'll have another $65K for mods! Damn think how fast that would be! I'd take the Fiero on that alone in a heartbeat!

Wow, thanks everybody. No need for a poll here, looks like the overwhelming victory goes to the Fiero!
I'm so excited, I think I'll go share my decision w/ OT. Uh, on second thought, maybe not.
