How much does the LS2 weigh? I would imaginge more with the traditional oil pan...unless dressed weight includes the extra sump equipment....

Are you sure about the weight? Where did you find that number? I checked on the LS1 dressed weight about 6 months ago, and I seem to remember 443lbs. Would the ls7 be that much more? Rods a little lighter, holds less oil if you don't count the separate resevoir, block and heads similar, crank probably a little more, rods and pistons a little less.
