You'll notice that because of the mandatory european side turning signal, the Z06 badges have been relocated. They look totally out of place in their new place. On top of that one of them is even slightly crooked. That's going to drive me creazy
Also, the polished wheels option being unavailable in Europe for the Z06, I'll be stuck with those wheels that frankly don't look stunning.

Looks like some of their promotional material is a little out of date. Notice the rear license plate shows "500 HP" but the side Z06 badges show the correct "505 HP".
Great pics. Probably the best close-ups of the painted wheels I have seen yet.

There are removeable covers on each side of the front facia - just forward of the headlamp covers - unique European feature.
Anyone know the purpose?

Guess that must be a European requirement. They are standard or optional on a lot of European models in the US.
The covers sure look ugly... does a little wiper pop out squeegee them dry after the washer hoses them down?

Can we for one minute please not sound like a bunch of closed minded, hate anything european because its not american corvette owners. Please don't me..but seriously guys. You guys always get so defensive when it comes to the european market.
Nothing personal or hated meant here...all I am saying is lets not assume we are the best and actually shown we can make positive comments on "non-american" things.

Again a European mandatory white parking light. Most American vehicule exported over here have this little lamp. Looks like crap. All those modifs are now GM installed at the factory. Used to be installed by the dealer for each car a few years ago. A real hassle if you ask me
I've got the right to complain since I'm living in France

zO6mofo,
Absolutely the best pictures of the car I've seen yet. The painted wheels actually look better and better as you scroll through the shots. What camera did your friend use for these images?

you should all learn and hear what ppl say about the u.s. market (and americans in general)...not meaning to go off on a tangent here. i was commuting by flights every single week from the states to montreal, qc, where i basically "lived" for the last 5 yrs. i'm no longer doing that as i've moved on to another role. however, it's a whole different culture and different point of view that one can certainly appreciate and learn from.
i'm sure this forum like any other forum has members from all over the world. after all it IS the net and what you say and write reflects loudly and clearly by readers.
ok, back to the regularly scheduled program...

Yeah I love those wheels. Can't wait to see them in Competition Grey.
