Proud to be riding with you in North Dakota my friend!

Plenty of wide open roads up there - so please floor it once for me.

91k miles. What year is your car? Any head work?

My 07 was built by Henry Rose (08/2006)

No head work and it's an 07. LS motors tend to make more horsepower with miles on them. I've owned about 5 of them and you can read up on this when they dyno SCCA cars in the beginning of the season and at the end they make more in the end than when they started.

Nice to see a posting for my old buddy Doug. But if you look a little closer last name should say Stratz.

Funny thing happened at Wixom. Doug got a new set of name plates that were not correct. His first name was printed as Dough instead of Doug. And when he ran out of Doug nameplates he did have to use a few that read Dough Stratz. Anybody out there have one? Might be worth a lot of Dough!

We had the heads off to install the supercharger and it looks like James Knipps built and autographed my LS7

I bought the National Geographic Ultimate Factories video of the Z06 assembly line build about a year ago after watching it back in 2007. I watched it several times again and knew I would get my Z one day. Bought a yellow 07 about 3 months ago. After checking who built my engine I went and replayed the video and it was Greg Jones!(featured in the video and who built my motor) Maybe he's building my engine in the video..!

Default Z06 Engine

Just found out about this site. Proud to say Dale Simmet built this wonderful 2009 Z06 motor. We started with a mean motor and only made it meaner. 551 RWHP. Sorry to hear about his passing.
