Just curious how the real word races at the track are going??

So the Viper Forum has one Z06 kill in it's book.

I guess either new owners are still breaking them in or using them as parade cars.

Can't talk kill stories on the forum unless it's at a track. I don't think too many guys have had their cars at the track yet.

True, but there are ways around it. I've posted kills but not all have been on a NHRA sanctioned track, it's all in the wording.

If you want to talk about "parade" cars.

Don't worry you'll likely hear of many more Z06's getting roasted.
Just don't find to many stock Vipers which won't help matters either.

Speaking of taming the viper i had an accerlation contest with my lonely old C5 at my local drag strip wink wink and i won every time, those darn slow vettes i tell ya.

You can't talk about Z06's beating Vipers without him chiming in. Some people can't take the fact that their car is slower in stock form. It's truly sad...

He was just cruising past the group of Vettes, and saw the Z...you can see where he stopped, just past my car, and was out in a flash.

The cops in Westport, CT were really cool. (and Vette owners)

Plus you see where the attention was

I also hear of a C6 Z06 that will be there as well. I got $100 on him.

I've been to the track a couple times but havent raced anything worthwhile. Everything was either "drag prepped" like the 10 second grand national i raced. Or worthless competition like mustang gt's and many a japanese car. I did have the chance to race an 03 cobra with kenny bell s/c and EVERYTHING else done but i missed a shift. I might have been able to get him if not who knows. He ran a 12.0 and i have ran a 12.0 but just not on that race. I think i beat him off the line. Going to houston this weekend for a streetrace shootout at the track should get some good races there.
