The Z06 roof panel looks like a normal C6 panel without the latch mechanism. How is the panel installed at the factory ? Is it possible to remove, buy the pins and a new roof with the latch mechanism and have a removeable roof on your Z06 ?

When I did the factory tour I noticed that the z has a lot more support structure in the roof line than the c6. So, I dont think it is that easy. I wish it was.

It's also magnesium. It will burn a hot white like old VW engine blocks when lit on fire!
