Default Wow

my wife and I were on our way to the movies this afternoon and i see this yellow vette up ahead in traffic. I say HOLY (#&$#( thats a Z06! i could tell from 4 cars back looking at only the rear that it was a Z. i tell her to floor it so i can get a look at the side since i've NEVER seen on in person (just been drooling over you guys pics). course we get caught in traffic and cant catch him.
5 min later we are walking up to tinsel town and i see him turning in to the parking lot from a different entrance. by this time i just leave my wife and i'm running to try and get a better look. it cruises up infront of the theater to get a look at what was showing and i just stair at it as it drives by. MAN, this thing LOOKS AWESOME in person. the pictures DONT do it justice. the guy and his wife turned around to get another pass at what was showing (had to grimmice when he was crawling over the speed bumbs). so hes sitting there looking at show times from the car and i'm just standing there staring. he rolled down the window and i walked over and asked him to give it a rev. talk about making my day! he was a real nice guy, said he only had 180 miles on it and he's owned a lot of cars and this one is something special.
All i can say is WOW! you guys are very blessed to own one of those machines! i was thinking i might settle for a C6 in a few years but after seeing that thing....

From the general public, I got more looks in my 996TT. From anyone (not just corvette owners as recently stated in another post) that knows sports cars or reads any car magazine they just can't take their eyes off of my Z. That's not the most important thing though. The smile and satisfaction I get when I hear that V8 come alive is incredible. I love the way this car feels, sounds and looks.

My wife tells me if I rubbed her as much as I rub (wash & wax it) the car, she would never complain about anything. Sorry honey.....

Still can't make myself stop checking the garage each night to make sure she's really in there!

There is a Chevy dealership in Mesa, Arizona that has 5 vettes (3 C5's a C6 Coupe and a C6Z) parked basically on the side of the road. I nearly wrecked my poor Stratus driving by with my g/F over the weekend. Later that day she went to get me some food and she took video on my dig camera driving by.

Got back last night from a ski trip, pulled up into the drive way in the suburban and hit the garage remote. The best part of the weekend was seeing that big beautiful ZO6 rearend looking at me.

I don’t know why the guy would want to go see a movie for entertainment? I could just take a bag of into my garage and stare at my “Z” for amusement!
