Default Our Lingenfelter TT C6 Z06 dyno sheet is in

well It dynoed in at 696whp and 705lbs/tq (at about 8-10psi of boost not sure the exact psi) but there is nothing but MONSTER torque all across the board... a shop in town who is pretty well known for working on corvettes and building them up, said the new engine and its internals can easily handle 900whp so I am guessing lingenfelter put a very safe tune on it since they are giving a 5yr warranty on the engine... so after a year or so we will probably turn the boost up and tune it for in around 900-950rwhp since even with the 695hp's power curve traction is going to be very difficult so we will have to get that fixed up first… it would be on its way back to us but they had some problems with the new trany parts that they put in.. They figured the pressure plate they got from exedy was slightly warped…
so I do hope to have some videos up and going for you guys soon on this and more pictures once it arrives, although knowing our luck we will have a dump of snow once it arrives

Here you can see the top of the intercooler, which is black, slightly stealthier I guess behind the front bumper

new manifold going down to one of the turbos

and then the new Corsa exhaust

yea.. some people have said that its not worth the price of the kit, but they dont understand its not just a turbo kit bolted on but a full on engine build up...

Me gusta, I like it. I only know two languages, otherwise I would use more to describe how much I like it. How are you going to harness that beast..dayum! Actually, the C6 Z06's unlike the C5's are decent under a lot of power. You may need to buy 365mm tires for the rear like ones found on that million dollar car (Bugatti Veyron)

Congrats and please be safe with it amigo...that's a monster you got there.

Carlos

Default congrats to you

TT can be sooooo fun to drive, i had a 427 C5R 1998 C5 with LPE TT and then some :-)

My biggest complain is that camshaft selection and turbo size should be bigger, so we can play with boost curve under 4500 and keep it drivable, and then maintain the TQ curve so you end up with a nice climbing curve vs. todays TQ that hits like a fist and then drops off

imagine maintaining the 704 TQ curve until redline , or be able to lift it across the board, with just the control of a good boost controller

Again , congrats it must be one scary fast drive

That is one mean torque curve!!! Congrats!!!! I also would like to know what was done to the interals of the motor... I am sure the cast pistons were replaced at the very least... but anything else?

I'd once hoped that I would be first but gave up that quest for personal reasons. Congrats for being da man! I'll be interested in how you do with regard to cooling issues. Let us know. But my hat is off to you for having the cojones to go for it! You've succeeded in taking an already awesome car and taking it all the way out to being stupid (that's a compliment not a hit).

Videos, pics, dyno run videos all would be appreciated so we can live vicariously through you!

Awesome, congrats.

Why does the hp start to drop off so early though? Looks like it peaks about 5700 rpm and drops by about 70rhwp to redline?

just where they ended it? not sure... if you look its the same at the start and end as the stock dyno was... must have been just where they ended it...

as for the parts put into the engine here is some of the list.. there were more i believe but i would have to go threw the emails sent, as they added things here and there as they went threw it..

- JE Forged aluminum pistons
- Manley fully machined 4340 forged steel connecting rods
- Computer balanced rotating assembly
- Professional assembly and blueprinting of engine
- Properly sized fuel injectors and high capacity fuel system
- Twin Garrett oil lubricated & liquid cooled true ball bearing turbochargers
- Super high efficiency air to air charge coolers
- 304 Stainless steel 4 into 1 custom exhaust manifolds & turbo outlets
- Belt driven turbocharger scavenge pump & turbo oil drain reservoir
- Custom molded silicone air ducts
-Two S&B 360 degree conical air filters
- Stainless steel / ceramic heat shields & stainless clamps
- Port matched LS7 intake manifold
-Ported and polished throttle body
-Gaskets and fasteners
- Stainless Steel cat back exhaust by Corsa Performance - 2 tip system
- Professional installation, testing and tuning Chassis dyno report

That’s all they put on their web site but I do believe there were some more little tricks they added in... Also if/when we turn the boost up and re-tune it we will more then likely be adding in alcohol injection like we have on our other boosted cars to help with more cooling

I wonder why they went with an air-to-air intercooler instead of the air-to-water intercooler like on their 427 TT on the C6 vettes. Interesting.
Let us know if you have any cooling troubles with the intercooler up in front of the condenser and radiator. Do you have an oil cooler on your package as well?

Alot of people are Ignorant. I have driven a C5 with the 750HP package and it was Awesome. I had a C5Z with the 550HP package and was a great performer for its time. The amazing thing about Lingenfelter is how docile there packages are until you put your Foot In It and they come with a Warranty too. I believe the C6Z with the 800HP package to be the best all around Bang for the Buck ever made.

they did this because the pump for the dry sump was in the way for their water pump on the intercooler... so then went to a MASIVE! air to air style and yes it has a oil cooler on it

yea thats what i have been told... so it will still make a nice driver on the streets but when you need to put a viper, GT or a GT500 in its place you can do so :
