C6 Z06 Curb Weight?
I read in the FAQ that the 2006 C6Z has an approximate curb weight of 3130 pounds. I have an '07 and realize that GM added some sound deadening material so I would expect the car to weigh a bit more. Well, I noticed on my build sheet that the curb weight is 3645 pounds?! Is that correct?

No, I have a .pdf of my build sheet that my dealer printed directly from the GM Vehicle Inquiry System. It says "Gross Vehicle Weight Rating 1653 kg (3645 lb)."
I guess a better question for me to ask Is gross vehicle weight the same as curb weight?

GVWR is the maximum total weight rating of the car, including all fluids, passengers, luggage, and anything else in the car. The curb weight is generally the unloaded weight, and can be (and is often) measured with all of the fluids and some amount of fuel on board. The difference between the two amounts is the payload.
If you search this forum you will see some scale readouts of various '06 Z06's in the 3080-3100 lbs range with some amount of fuel. I don't recall whether anyone here has actually posted a weighing of an '07 and it's tough to know what the magazines are weighing, since they don't report on how much fuel is in the tank. A full tank weighs something over 100 lbs.
For example, Motor Trend posted a 3234 lb curb weight for an '06 Z06 in its December 2006 issue, and Car and Driver posted 3180 lbs for an '07 in its March '07 issue. It had previously published 3145 lbs or so last Fall for an '06. So, you can see that these weights are all over place, and probably reflect differences in amounts of fuel and things left lying around in the car when they were weighed, not to mention differences in the scales. Don't know how much fuel was in the car when GM weighed it at 3132.
The cars seem to weigh about 3100+/- lbs dry. My GVWR (from the door VIN sticker) is 3577 lbs, so the payload is about 475 lbs or so. Couple of decent-sized people plus luggage, etc.

My 07 LZ2 weight was 3130 lbs. with fuel tank at 5/8ths. That was the car weight when we corner-balanced.
Replacing the cheese-grater front rotors with two-piece slotted rotors for tracking... reduces the weight by ~ 14 lbs. all off the front.

My 06' 2LZ was 3175 lbs with a near full tank... my buddies 07' 2LZ was 3180 with a 1/2 tank. We figured 30-40lbs difference.
PS same day same scale...

My 2009 Z06 has a GVWR of 3651 minus the 423 lbs = 3228 lbs.

Your 3160 lbs plus 60 lbs for another 9 gallons on gas = 3220 lbs. If you add another 8 lbs for the larger reservoir & additionial oil on the 2009 up, and you are up to 3228 lbs. Exactly what I get when I take my GVWR of 3651 and subtract the max cargo loading of 423 lbs = 3228, on my 2009.
What I'm trying to say, is that you don't need to get out your bathroom scales and weigh your car; just look at the sticker on the driver's door and subtract 423 lbs. Doing this will give you the weight of your car.

I just checked the door stickers on my '07 2LZ with a hud and nav. Max payload was listed as 423 pounds. Gross vehicle weight was listed as 3630. By subtraction my curb weight should be 3207. I weighed my car stock a couple of years ago with a full tank of gas and it was 3161.
