Default Will Clutch fluid procedure work for the brake fluid?

I'm wondering if sucking out the brake fluid on a regular basis would be just as good as bleeding the brakes on a yearly or later basis.

Would sucking out the fluid from the brake reservoir get the fluid in the calipers eventually?

I do my clutch fluid on a monthly basis, seems the same principal would apply to the brakes.

Don't track the car, just want to keep all my fluids fresh.

In therory I would say yes, but I have a feeling one must be cautious intorucing air into the system ? Any guru cares to elaborate ?

Don't do it. When the time comes just change the OEM brake fluid (DOT3) to a better one (DOT4, higher boiling point) and follow the usual brake maintenance schedule.

Let me put it this way: we do the monthly clutch fluid change as a workaround. It is easy to do and it helps keeping the clutch operational.
Brake fluid life is OK, it does not need a similar workaround. If you do a lot of hard braking, usually at the race track, then you must do the entire brake fluid replacement, no messing around!
If clutch does not work is bad, but when brakes do not work can be final...

The brake fluid master cylinder reservoir doesn’t lend itself to cleaning out as handily as the clutch res. I use Speed Bleeders on the brakes, just add clean fluid and push it through. Unfortunately the clutch bleeder screw is not as accessible, thus the master cylinder cleanout workaround.
