Piloti shoes
I just got my first pair of Pilotis. I like them but they're pretty stiff, especially in the midsole. For those that have worn them, will they loosen up?
Thanks, Kevin

They do, but not much. I like mine so much that I wear them in place of my sneakers. I find that when I drive my car with any other style shoe I don't have the feel or control of the pedals.
They seem to be wearing very well to and for $75 they are cheaper than most sneakers and look better too.

They are the way to go for heel and toe or just fun driving. They are so comfortable that I use Pilotis exclusively at work (dentist).
BTW, the Mulholland are very flexible. They have the short laced portion.

I was really having trouble with the pedals with the other style shoes..
They work fine.. and are necessary if you take a driving Course.

I bought the Piloti Spyder SV Series which have the neat toggle lacing system, I bought them in Ecosse (Blue) as show in the photo, but am buying a second pair in Red.

They are an incredible and comfortable all around footwear and worth every penny of their $75.

I have the Piloti Spyder SV shoes. They are incredibly comfortable at the track or on longer cruises. They were never stiff.
I won't go to the track in any other shoe.

I think I will just buy them at the school, I am going to spring mountain driving school they have piloti there, but I am afraid brand new shoes will hurt my feet and the school will be 3 days, what do you guys think? do you think it's ok just wear brand new shoes or maybe I will get a pair of tennis shoes and break them in. need a pair of tennis shoes anyways

For heel/toe braking, personally, I'm going to switch to something with a thinner sole. Helll, I get more feel if I wear my Dockers.
