I've driven on British roadways and they are no prize, especially compared to the rubberized asphalt on our local freeways here in the metropolitan Phoenix area. (Unlike the concrete rutted mess in southern California). So I have no complaint about Goodyear run-flat tire noise. I don't think the radio/CD/Nav system is so bad that I can't hear it.
In my opinion, the car is great as an every day driver. If I can drive there in less than six hours, I'll drive this car rather than fly. San Diego, Vegas, LA, Albuquerque, El Paso, etc.

he is a better reviewer than ANY car reviewer in the US, period. He tells you how it is, sometimes you agree, sometimes you don't. After all he is sharing HIS opinion.

He lost a lot of credibility when he complained about the fuel use at the end of his review. The Z06 gets about twice the gas mileage of the 599 Ferrari he gushes about. I wonder how many folks use a 599 Ferrari as a daily driver?
I have a stock 97 TT Toyota Supra and the Z06 is more comfortable, less noisy at highway speed, has a better sound system, more storage and gets better gas mileage. In addition there is no comparison as far as performance. The only area for daily driving where the Supra is better is that it's suspension is not a stiff as the Vette.

As the owner and regular driver of the car in question I find it pretty easy to (a) judge if he's getting his facts right and (b) judge his opinions.
Anyone who gets into a car they don't own, drives it for only a day or so, and then starts offering up "professional" opinions about the car re: how it would/might be as a car to own and drive regularly, is a person whose opinions need to be taken with more than a bit of skepticism.
Pretty much all TV "personalities" quickly fall victim to the disease of believing their own hype and overrating their value to the world. The more that people applaud them and pat them on the back...
Those who can, do. Those who can't, criticise.

I laughed when I viewed this - Typical Britsh humor.
But, wonder how he'd like it if a similar "review" was done of some British car - and added some mean-spirited stereotypes of what we don't like about British people or British food?

He definately goes way overboard about what he sees as flaws. Bad gas Mileage! How friggin rediculous is that. He is an idiot! I also love how he raves about the cost compared to the Ferrari then rags it for the tire noise, or the stereo! What a joke.
