Default C6R intake??

Who makes this intake?

It looks like 2 throttle bodies with a huge intake manifold?

Anyone have any info on this set up?

Why is it so different than stock?

We make it. It is an IR carbon fiber manifold with a single throttle body housing 8 throttle blades. The throttle body is centrally located and runners pass through it in an alternating pattern bank to bank.

The answer to your next two questions are "a lot" and "no".

I could not make sense of the two answers you gave.

Try, "how much does it cost?", and "can I get one?"

Why the change?? is it needed on the C6R engine?

Come on now, given enough money everything is possible.

Just my guess, it will be around $10,000. to $15,000.00 and not good on a street. I use to be the neighbor of John Caldwell development (Viper engine for Orega team) and they did have a similar intake.

The LS7.R engine was designed from a clean sheet of paper. It was never "changed." It always ran this intake. It was designed to run using the restrictors.

IF you had the money...
IF GM Racing let us sell it...
IF you could figure out how to control it...
IF you could figure out how to actuate the cable throttle linkages...
IF you could figure out how to fit it under the hood and cowl...
IF you could fabricate custom airboxes

...it would probably restrict your engine.
