I don't know about that. The block in the Gt 500 is the same as the iron block in the Lightning, we put MONSTER pulleys on them. And the max rpm won't be 15,000, that's just what they recommend for max efficiency. I had my poor old Eaton spinning over 20,000 rpm.

I would have prefered GM to take the C6 Z06 platform and just made the car lighter and with better suspension, brakes, tires, wheels etc. No HP bump would be needed.
