Check your EUN # again, it should be 9 digits.

should look something like this

what I can tell you from this number so far is ZKD is a 2006 and that is was built on line 2. my guess is that the number missing is between the 3 and the 4 and I bet it was a 2 or 3. if 2 Your engine was unit number 6, assembled on line A3, Tuesday, September 06, 2005. if 3 your engine was unit number 6, assembled on line A3,Thursday, December 15, 2005

Can anyone help me decipher this code on my 06 Z by Henry Rose? 10ZKD 331562612

It was a good engine until it seized due to loss of oil pressure
I should have a new number to check in a few days. I'm getting a new long block through GMPP. Thanks!

You guys have any track time on these cars ??

Did the motors just sieze up or is there holes in the side of the block ??

No track time on my car and no hole in the block. With my windows down I almost thought I had blowout due to the loud pop and driving over gravel like noise but no it was my motor. From what the dealer told me today my crank wont move at all so they started tearing down the motor this afternoon.

Mine seized without any external block damage. Loss of oil pressure, no noise, pushed the clutch in, RPM went to zero. End of story. They found bearings welded to the crank.

No track time, but lots of mountain roads & cloverleafs.

According to the block casting number, if I'm reading it right (10069286) it's a 1990-1991 454 4 bolt main block. The stamped number indicates it was made at the Tonawanda (T) engine plant, (04) April, (25) 25th. XCH was the engine cade for LS7, an over the counter sale, not installed in a vehicle.
