Default c6 zo6 dash board glare

I have a Velocity Yellow Z06. When driving in the bright sun, the reflection of the black dashboard on the windsheild makes it very tough to see. What has anybody done to decrease the glare?

50% tint on the windshield. It' does the trick. And stop using amor-all to "make-a-shiney dash". After time it will destroy the dash.

window tint - interesting....I definitely don't use armor all. I don't put anything on the dash except water to clean it.

The problem with tint, however, is it is illegal in CA and since I already have the sides and rear tinted, it will make the car too dark.

I would say the best option is to put alcantara over it

50% is unnoticable. Just takes the glare out. It's illegal in all states on the front window. You wouldn't be able to tell.

How about some anti-glare glasses.

Polarized & Polarized Photochromic Sunglasses.

Polarized sunglasses are a must - really. I even put a piece of polarized clipons over the lens on my track camera.

The only problem is that the HUD becomes harder to see - not as hard as in my old C5, but harder than without the polarized sunglasses.

i thought it was unique to my car as well. when i have polarized glasses on it is fine, when it's other than dark outside i get a reflection of the hud frame, and the other parts of the dash. i dont use armor all and not really interested in a mat.

Default Same issue here, HUD frame reflection in windshield

Probably going to have to use a nicely cut piece of non-reflective fabric to cover the HUD frame and think of a way to keep it place on the dash when it's sunny, probably going to be slightly annoying. Dash-mats are only other option. So off to the fabric store I go.
