For those using vented hood, question:
I need a vented hood but I am concern about rain water.
Doesn't water damages anything if in traffic and raining?
And how about just washing the car???
Any help is appreciated, thanks

No issues with water in the engine compartment. At any speed the air flows the other way, at stop the water is routed between the belts and radiator to the ground.

I haven't had any issues with my Caravaggio hood. It's engineered pretty well. I wash my car with a pressure washer and yet to see any water on or around the engine bay afterwards.

The LG Motorsports World Challenge Hood has rain traps that allow air to escape, but keeps water from getting into the engine bay.

If you're moving water doesn't even get it. If it does, its not the end of the world. When I wash my car I first put a towel over the Halltech airbox/radiator/engine below the louvers.
