No way. The black just blends in with the tire and get lost in the darker blue color.

Chrome, polished or a combo looks better.

Not aftermarket, but the best wheel GM has made for a Vette and better than 95% of the aftermarket wheels I see, IMO.

Variety is the spice of life. I like the before picture but I am old and do see that black is beautiful is making a huge come back.

I also think the original Split Spoke is the best looking wheel ever made for a OEM fitment.

While the chrome looks nice on the Vette, nothing says mean, low and fast like a set of black wheels "blending" into the tire and getting lost!!! The very reasons you don't like are the same reasons I love them.

I gotta agree with vegasvette.. The black wheels look good up close, but from any distance at all they just blend into the tire and fenderwell. I was driving with a couple of normal people, lol-not sports car enthusiasts, and we saw a vette w/ black wheels and they all thought it had hubcaps
Ive had both and prefer the chrome beccause you can better see the lines of the wheel, IMO of course..

To each their own, if we were all alike it would be boring.
