I had a C5 and installed the A&A Frame Savers to protect the rocker panels, but they also made it easy to slide a jack with a pad under the frame rail for quick lifting. It appears that A&A offers them for the C6. I would have no qualms about using them on the steel frame C6, but am a little leary of using them on the aluminum frame. I do not even know if they fit the aluminum frame. Has anyone used these on their C6-Z06?

I made a set for my Z. I have not had a chance to install. The lower frame is not a smooth as the normal Vette. I hope it is just paint runs. I will find out in a couple of weeks.

I bought some frame savers for my 07 C6 and took them off when I sold it. When I went to put them on my Z06 they would not fit. There are some welds on the frame that prevent you from screwing them on. I don't know if anyone makes them for the Z06 or not, but I have a pair for the C6 if anyone wants them.

The rocker rails won't fit on the new Z, as TRR said, there are some welds that are not on the C6 base models.

The frame savers will fit all the cars.
