[Z06] PFADT Competition Z06 Sway Bars Review...

In fact many track guys replace the rear bar with the C6-Z51 rear bar and get FASTER on track! (Front/Rear relative stiffness is better)
So why does GM run such a stiff bar in the rear (and the stiff shocks on the '06)... best theories are that GM was trying to make the Z06 into a "momentum" car... maybe so Jan Magnussen could get get a great time on the 'ring ?! But for us mere morals / Joe Plumbers... it just hinders us from applying power (early) coming out of the corners...(and causes the snap oversteer the mag's were complaining about when the '06 first came out). The Pfadt "Super Stock" Front Sway Bar corrects this.
The Pfadt Competition "Pfatty" Bars will work too... as their relative front/rear stiffness is 'correct'. (Sold in front/rear pair)
Just compare the following:
C5-Z06 front vs. rear... (rear much less stiff)
C6-Z51 front vs. rear... (rear less stiff)
GM T1 front vs. rear... (rear much less stiff)
C5-Z06 front vs. rear... (rear much MORE stiff)

Good Point! Having too stiff a bar give too much weight-transfer (to the outside wheels)... and if it doesn't have the grip available... you just slide

Do the Pfadt sway street bars not offer a discernable enough difference to justify them? You had stated that Pfadt steered you this way when discussing a mod to improve handling. Like you, I probably wouldn't track mine, but would love to have vastly improved handling (that's adjustable) without messing with ride quality.
