Default ZR1 Painted Rear Spoilers Now Available from RPI - Real GM ZR1 Spoiler!!

We are now offering the C6 ZR1 rear spoiler in all C6 exterior body colors, including 2009 colors.

The ZR1 spoiler mounts using bolts that are built into the spoiler. You need to remove your 2 inner tail lights which will expose 4 bolts that hold your stock 3rd brake housing in place. Once you remove those 4 bolts you can lift your 3rd brake housing and install the ZR1 spoiler.

The ZR1 spoiler uses a total of 10 bolts to hold it in place, so you will need to drill 6 holes in your decklid for installation. Ths spoiler uses the same 4 holes that that are already drilled into your decklid as well.

Please allow 5-7 days from order to ship, these are custom painted to order.

Here are some previous customers spoilers:

Feedback from previous customers:

"I agree, the paint on my Cyber Gray is flawless. If some of you want to save a few bucks and take a chance that it may not look good, go ahead I'll stick with Josh & Gene. The customer service can not be matched!"

"I should also chime in and mention that the Machine Silver ZR1 spoiler I bought from RPI was an EXACT paint match. I am very happy with it.
"

"got the spoiler installed... the paint match from RPI was dead on!"

"The new spoiler looks fantastic!"

"I'm REAL happy with how the spoiler looks. I especially like how it accents the lines of the rear hatch. "

Price: $629.00 /painted and ready to install

Available here: http://rpidesigns.com/shop/item.asp?itemid=1389

Please note!! We only have the ZR1 spoiler sitting on our C6, we have not had a chance for installation yet, that is why the spoiler is not sitting down into position.

Thanks for looking!

That we do not know for sure. The GM Racing spoiler uses no extra holes, the other spoiler I dont know for sure. We'll check to see if we can find the answer.

Josh,

Do you think it would be possible for your customers to post pics of other colored ZR1 spoilers?

Thanks, Gene.

I sure hope so. I've seen a black one posted here. Once we get the batch of current spoilers painted, I'll post the picture of them for everyone to see.

Thanks!

We've got another batch coming in on Wednesday 12-17-2008. If you have one on order or are thinking about ordering one you might want to get the order placed. These are moving in and out pretty fast right now.

We'll start shipping the new batch on the 18th.
Thanks again for the support!

I can't tell how closely you and Gene are working together. If I order a painted spoiler from you does it include the template the Gene includes with the unpainter spoiler he sells?

Also, do you include the nuts to go with the 10 studs?

Hello

Yes, we include the template and the 10 nuts for the spoiler. Installation takes less than 1 hour.

You can, but JSB is one of the easiest colors for us to do. Never had one issue with color matching with JSB or any other color.

I keep looking at that spoiler and I can't seem to figure out why they are so expensive.
Have I lost contact with the Z06 tax?
Am I missing something here?
I mean over $400 for an unpainted piece and over $600 for one painted?

Z06 prices are dropping through the roof and these aftermarket prices seem to be going in the other direction.

Bob
