Damn, those cars are sexy!
A half assed pass so the ET wasn't impressive.
All I have is a picture of the time, no video! Nice mph for a bad pass!!

Thats things got tens in it , for sure .
And from what Ive been told , the carbon ceramic brakes need to be properly warmed up to get optimal bite . Maybe a cold pass ?

ZR1 Brakes
As far as not being able to stop at the big end, it definately must have been driver error. The CF brakes on the ZR1 do not need to be warmed up. Think about it, this car is sold in places like Minnesota. Do you believe that GM would sell a car where they knew the brakes wouldn't work?

On street tires you have to kinda look at MPH as most can't drive a car with that much power and get it to hook. But the trap speeds don't typically lie. The C6Z makes about 450 RWHP on average and runs out the back door around 126 or 127 mph. The ZR1s are making 530 to 540 RWHP and weigh 250 pounds more. So the mph seems pretty close on paper.

We have no idea what track conditions, weather conditions, driver conditions were like, but that MPH don't lie, the car is making power, nobody can deny that.

That car has more in it for sure. I wouldn't be surprised to see mid 10.6's @132 -134 mph with DR's and a good driver.
I also give the guy credit for taking it out to a track.

+1, I'm sure it won't be much longer before somebody with experience gets behind the wheel and rips off some mid 10's @132+. I want to see what these car's will start doing with a few bolt-ons!

One of the big factors today in trap speed is heat (intake and coolant temp) Ambient temperture plays a big role, but so does cool-down time between runs.

Yeah, however those Z06 trap speeds are on a good launch. A crappy launch (like this ET indicates) would most likely slow a good running Z06 into the low to mid 120s...making this trap of 129 all the more impressive but feasible given the 133HP difference. With a good launch the mph will climb into the low 130s.
Exactly!
Kyle Bush's Z06 was only trapping 119! QUITE the comparison, I must say!
