Default Another Ragin' Racin' Stage 5 Hits The Streets

Forum member Way2slow dropped his Z off to us bone stock and left with plenty of Rage to lay down on the pavement.

Our Stage 5 setup includes
A&A Vortech LS7 Supercharger Kit
Ragin' Racin' LS7 Blower Cam Package
LG PRO Long Tube Headers
Ragin' Racin' Ported Intake and TB
160 Stat
Ragin' Racin' Custom Dyno and Street Tuning.

We love this package because it has stock drivability and provides gobs of power and torque. Here is a Dyno Graph and Video of the Setup.
688hp/600tq

Is that 688 at the wheels or at the crank?

This is getting to the limits of what the stock pistons can hold. Adding forged pistons would be a great add for this kit. The clutch is going to be determined on how it is driven??

Question, you didn't by any chance weigh the car, did ya? I'm just wondering how much in weight are you adding with the vortech kit.

I got to ride in the car when he got it back to town. its awesome! The cam is very mild and sounds very clean. The t-trim in not like the old loud geary sounding vortechs of the past. It is very quite. Aside from the sound the car seems acts like stock. In 6th gear at 1200-1500rpm it will just cruise. No bucking or jerking. But when the pedal hits the floor board it pulls like a **** pinning your *** in the seat.

how is the traction? my lethal z cam melts the tires in 2nd and 3rd gear, and I'm only making 538/493. I would assume an upgraded clutch and DR's are a must if u want to maximize the cars potential. sickening powa, congrats again!

He left the tcs on. In 2nd gear the tcs does nothing. It put a hurting on the tires quick! He did a 3rd gear punch and surprisingly the car stayed planted.
