I kind of liked it myself. Like I said it made my day. You reaction time was right there though .001 early is damn close. You can cut a light.I was just getting my rpms set and saw the lights were dropped already. I was shocked I cut a 1.75 honestly.

What was done to the GTR to get 127 trap speeds? They're usually around 116-120 at best.
Also, what was the DA? I would love to see what my car could do at MIR...

I'm familiar with that car from over on the GT-R site. Rob went 10.91 @ 127.xx mph..He has a Cobb AP reflash, dyno tune, down pipe with hi flow cat, mid pipe and drop in K&N filters. So fairly mild upgrades. Mine went 11.5 @121.70mph when it was stock last summer.
It sure looks like everyone had a lot of fun and to boot a couple of records were broken. Congrats!
That track always seems to produce some good numbers. I'd like to take one of my cars there also and see how much better I could lower my times. I wonder how strict they are about roll cages on a normal track day since this was a track rental and they are usually a lot more lenient with the rules.

Thanks for posting Mr. Walterm32.
Gosh, I miss these kind of events soooo much!!!
When I lived in Chicago, stuff like this was a huge! They still race in this manner to certain extent at the track but for money which is cool but you can't practice and try new things under those conditions. At least with the format above [track rental for driving], you can simply race and race, then eat, meet new friends and race again.
Here in Dallas...boy what can't I say? I'm sorry, but Dallas is lame. It's all about dyno racing and/or dyno sheets for braggin' I may get flammed for saying this about Dallas but it is true. At least the guys in Houston for the most part do something beside bench race.
I enjoyed the videos, it brought back some memories. FYI, there is a similar video library in the BMW forum from the same MIR track rental day.
Thanks, and thanks again for sharing.
