Hello,

We are starting to ship the steering wheels that were done in the group purchase. Here are some of the ones that are going to be shipped today. They are pictured with the optional real carbon fiber caps and a picture of the optional victory red painted caps. Well keep you updated on a new real carbon fiber steering wheel coming very soon

Wow... I was just think how your wheels would look with alcantara/leather mix!

How much again?

How does the alcantara hold up to daily use and can you wash it with leather cleaner or just water like suede?

Beautiful. I'm about to order as well, would also like some insight as to how the alcantara holds up to 'hands' on.

The price for the steering wheel is $549.00 plus a $200.00 refundable core deposit. It does not include the carbon fiber caps. Alcantara is easy to keep clean. We have had alcantara in our car without any issues.

I believe you use an upholstery brush and lint roller to clean the surface then use something like this

I daily drive use my 08 Z06 and am waitng for my ebony alcantara with C.F caps to arrive on Fri.

My previous car, a BMW vert, had an alcantara steering wheel and it held up supremely. Absolutley no worries what so ever. It wicks away sweat and gives you a great feeling in your hands.

To me there is nothing is more trick in terms of performance wheels than alcantara in my opinion.

To clean, use a "lightly" moistened (warm water) microfiber towel. As you wipe down your dash and arm rests do the same for your steering wheel.
