Launch Control for all 2010 Models

"First is that Launch Control is standard on all manual Corvettes. Tadge showed us several videos on how it works and its impressive. Tadge was also very clear that use of the Corvette's Launch Control system won't void your warranty either! We've got video of the seminar and will have that up in the next couple of days."

I honestly think that the value of the Z06 dropped even more with the launching of the Gran Sport. I don't know the price of the Grand Sport yet but from what I read already it just have too many similarities with the Z06 and the appeal on the Z06 is one of the main reasons why the Z06 earned its spot.
Before you could spot a base vette and a Z06 and be able to tell the difference but now the Z06 just don't stand up as before.

"Z06 3LZ package now includes power sport seats and power passenger seat "
I'm curious to see what they did with the OnStar module to make that work.
Of course, I'd love to hear if the launch control or PTM can be retrofitted.

Great for the strip but limited usefulness on the track.

Heck, after a year, no one can figure out how to even retrofit the '09 oil tank

These guys do systems for a few high-end manufacturers (the system is fitted by manufacturers such as Gumpert, Bristol, Grinnall, Koenigsegg and Lotus)...they also used to supply systems to F1 when they still had launch/traction control allowed.
Click on the "Technical" tab on top to see all the different aspects of their systems.

Most likely like this....http://www.racelogic.co.uk/?show=Traction_Control

Seems like the stock ECU can handle traction control all by itself

Seriously I think the LC on the New corvettes will be useless just like the one in the 2010 camaro, magazines testers found that they got better numbers (0-60) without using LC.
So it's not a big deal.

It's called Digital Signal Processing (DSP). Many people don't know how to make these algorithms work, but it sounds like GM is making an attempt. Nevertheless, I've pondered using my extensive DSP experience to design a quick-react traction control system superior to anything else out there....but I am too busy doing way more important things right now.
BTW - I do like the racelogic system.
