Since I'm coming out of a C5Z I'm trying to get used to the gizmos on the C6 Z06 (I have a new '08).

Is the "clicking" sound normal when using the push button start/accessory. Everytime I push it I hear what sounds like a relay clicking from behind the center stack. Everything works fine though.

Is this normal?

I've been in other cars with push to start and they were quiet.

My 07 does the same thing. I think it is normal.

When I start my '07, I push the button and immediately release it and the engine starts. No clicking no nothing, it just starts.

My 07 does it also, but only if you hold the start button in. If you just press and release it doesn't click.

Tons of clicks relays, tons of ticks under the hood too. I just have to trust it's all normal since there are so many threads about all the noises these cars make.
