Default What do you guys think about these replacement brake rotorand pads?

Rotors:
http://www.racingbrake.com/Z06_FRONT...p/2072-351.htm

http://www.racingbrake.com/Z06_REAR_...p/2073-351.htm

Pads
http://www.racingbrake.com/CORVETTE_...pd1185f-11.htm
I want to replace the rotors and pads along with some SS brake lines to improve the braking of my car. My car will be strictly a street car, but I'm adding a lot more power and need the brakes to hold up.

What do you think? Will these allow me to use the e-brake?

performanceafx.com good rotors and the owner is really helpful, he even delivered some new rings out to track attack and helped swapped them for the owner of the car.

i have talked to 2-3 owners that had the RB rotors but had problems and now are happy with the afx ones.

Perfomance afx does offer rear rotors also, give them a call, they are great to deal with and I doubt you can buy a better rotor. I have not used RB rotors but I did try a set of RB pads and they did not work very well for me. If you are looking for track pads I have Cobalt pads and really like them.

If you were in the market for new rotors. Would you go crossdrilled & slotted. or just slotted?

depends if you are a racer or a waxer

i prefer slotted if you have to have anything, but with proper ducting etc... I like the plain jane full surface rotor

Mine are just two piece rotors with no slots or holes and weigh under 8#! I like more surface area with the new compounds. Mine also have cooling ducts.

I got them from LG. I have stock calipers and stock rear rotors. LG also supplied the coil overs and brake pads. The know my driving stile and recommended the rotors and pads. Talk with Anthony at LG and tell him I told you to call if you are interested Derek.

It ws sure fun to meet you. Keep posting.

I would stay with solid rotors. No advantage to slotted and drilled, but there are disadvantages.

I am guessing they are the stop tech aero rotors. I just got the AFX and Hardbard rotors should be set for a while I am guessing you are running the cobalt pads also

When going with a aluminum hat on the rotor, doesn't it bring the wheel closer to the caliper?

I'm thinking of going with Perf AFX rotors but my CCW SP20 wheels are super close to the stock calipers, don't want to find out the hard way.

Rotors are not StopTech. Pads are Cobalt.
