Default anybody run 18 inch wheel and tires all the time.

i am having a hard time finding a normal tire for the rear if using an 18 inch wheel. i keep running into drag radials. is there a GOOD tire that is sold close to what the Z06 needs in an 18 inch?

If you don't want drag radials you can run Toyo's T1r's in Z sizes 345/30r18!!

There are more choices in 18's than 19's. Do a tire search by size, 335/30-18 or 345/30-18.

I dont know if you are a summer only car or not but im planning on running 18" all around too. some of the best "performance" tires ive seen/looked at are...
nitto nt05
nitto 555r
falken aizens
Kumho XS
and dunlop altezza? (spelling)

as stated before, there are ALOT more options in 18" tires then 19 (at least for performance)
there is a write up of different tires on car and drive or road and track, they compared like 10 tires and did a nice review, try keywords...tires or sports tires?

I have done them a few times, even have them on Lou's car. They are a little shorter than stock but have not shown any issues on the street or track.

That is a set of EV1 ForgeLine's on his car in a 18x10.5 front and 18x13 rear. 295 front tire, 335 rear.

Searching Tirerack... it looks like you have exactly two street tires choices in 18" , that won't freak out the AH, and both are pretty short tires:
BFG KDW2 in 285/30/18 and 335/30/18
Michelin PS2 in 295/30/18 and 335/30/18

FNQWK- What tires you running on the front?

Also do you have the 19" wheels in Black with "What" tires if you want to take a long cruise?

Thanks this may be the route I may take. I dont drive too much but may take a long cruise here or there say 300 mile round trip. I was thinking about waiting for the new Nitto 19" Drag radial but like the tad bigger sidewall on the 18" rim for 1/4 track duty.
