I think there have been some lamination problems with the 06 roofs.....07 had the upper head problems. In 09 they have a 10qt. system instead of 8.
I would do a search. The question has come up before.

The wrong glue was used in the 06's and early 07's which had a TSB. The roof could get unglued and eventually blow off.
The Larger oil tank is to help fix oil starvation which typically occurred in sustained left turns over 1G I believe. This oils starvation would lead to a messed up motor that you had a 50/50 shot of getting it covered under warranty because starvation usually happen on the track not the street and tracked cars can be denied warranty.
1lz 2006 seems a little high even with the low milage. Make sure you really like the car and try to get all the records and if it has the GMPP extended warranty make sure it has never been tuned if you wanna guaranty you are covered under warranty. Also, see the roof TSB was taken care of under warranty as I am not sure they will still fix it free any more.
I'm sure someone else will chime in and fill in the gaps of what I missed or don't know.

Unless you plan to road course the car, the changes were NOT that significant, although the longer drivetrain warranty (100K miles) is a plus if you're concerned about such things. Oh, and radio controls on the steering wheel were added in '07.

They changed the rear shocks, beefed up the rear end, beefed up the rear half shafts(CV joints I think), changed the transmission, changed the roof material from polycarbonate to SMC(so the glue would hold), did something to the intake rocker arms so they wouldn't spit out the bearings, changed the steering, increased the oil capacity, first from 8 qts to 8.5 qts and then to 10.5 qts, added blueltooth, and a bunch of misc small changes as they do across the board as they work out the kinks that surface.

As stated there are a host of changes made over the years. Fundamentally, the cars are the same.
If you are going to track the car, it really doesn't matter (you can get an aftermarket larger dry sump). If you are going to drive it mainly on the streets, you will miss out on some comfort and convenience stuff, but you just need to ask yourself if that matters or not (it did for me). Again, most of the later features and settings can be added aftermarket as well.
That seems a bit much for an 06 1LZ. I know of new-on-the-lot 2LZ 08s going in the low 50s in my area.
