Fast 102 LSXR LPE 630 package puts down larger #'s than the LPE 660 package!
After reading several posts and positive feedback on the Fast 102mm intake for LS7's I decied to take the plunge and pick one up, I was getting ready to have my valve covers painted anyway.
Before it headed out to the painter I disassembled the entire thing and took the opportunity to smooth out all the casting flash. Most of this was located where the individual runners met the base ( near the intake port of the head). More flash was found at the opening of each individual runner. Unfortuneatly, my camera was relocated by my 3.5 year old at the time, so no pics.
I got together yesterday with my engine builder and buddy Rod of Dewild Motorsports along with some other local car nuts for a little dyno time. I keep all my racing on the track so only my dyno #'s will be posted.
For comparison:
LPE 630 package............... 535/472 at the wheels.
LPE 660 package................566/498
My old 454 cu in LS7.......... 572/526
New 427 cu in LS7 ( before the intake) 557/507
drum roll please!!!! after the inatake and a bit of tuning....570/ 532!!!
A nice gain of 13 RWHP/25 RWTRQ. and as most have posted before, significant gains under the curve too!
almost the same power as the 454 with a smaller cam..and better heads!
To be fare to the LPE GT-21 660 package owners my bottom end is far from stock. As you can see here....
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-z...ial-intro.html
I may not have the magic 600 RWHP #'s, but I can drive this "baby cam" GT-19 car back and forth to work or at 9/10's on a road course with the same ease.
First a comparo of my 454 cu in LS7 and my latest 427 LS7 motor.
Special Thanks to Rod & Norm of Dewild Motorsports for building me exactly what I was looking for!
Attached: you will see the published specs from LPE on their 630 and 660 top end packages.

Thanks for all the great comments guys!. Its no TT 1,000 hp car but the 345's have all they can handle for now.
Scubasteve shot some vids of all 4 cars. 06 silver C6Z, 07 black C6Z, 08 JSB C6Z and a 91 Quasar Blue ZR1 415 LT5 ( A.K.A smokey) Seriously though, amazing numbers from 19 year old technology.
I'll let Scuba post them up or link to them once he does.

Here is what over 2,200 Horsepower looks like
I don't have vids of my car ( I was driving) but here is Hudini making a pull.

I figured you would. Gotta love the sound of the LT5 at full note!
Thanks! factory injectors. I almost switched to some aftermarket ones but if its not broke....
High 50's here lately. Ski season has sucked but nice enough for a dyno day or sorts. TB is a stock LS7 with some P&P from LS2 portworks.
I like my LPE intake. and the 100mm MAF. law of diminishing returns at this point. I figured we've squeezed enough out of this set-up already.
We might due some HP tuners real time tuning this year, but I'm happy.
Thanks. See these cars can have some go with a bit of show too!

One thing to note here.
The dyno graph you put up on the 660 package was from the very FIRST 660 package they did (SABER RACING's car).
Since then, they tweaked them a little and are getting 575-580 consistently. My 660 packaged car did 588 rwhp. Then we put on the FAST and got 601 rwhp/527 rwtq.

Gotta love that Fast 102 on our motors

Tq under the curve feel
Good #'s! Quick question if I may, on your SOTP meter; the tq gains under the curve, are they clearly noticeable? I've been considering the Fast intake but I'm always the last one by design to do "latest/new" product upgrade in hopes that by the time I do it, all the bugs has been worked out. My motor is pulling the same #'s as yours prior to your LSXR intake. That said, for my use (RR application mostly), I'm already very careful coming out of corners as the rears would step out if I'm not. But as most, after almost 2 yrs now, I'm used to the power & believe I'm ready for more. Feedback please on those newly gain tq under the curve.

If those two other cars put the FAST on they have a good chance at hitting 600 rwhp?
