White, Red, or Silver??
So, I'm pretty close to driving my dream car ZR1. As long as I can sell my 07 Z06 my dealer (aka my father of our family business) will let me upgrade. So I drive a torch red vette and I love it! But I am having a hard time deciding which color! Darn! I like my red, but that white and silver sure are tempting! I like red cause it makes a statement, yet white and silver are classy colors that are subtle. I guess I was just wanting to continue my streak with torch red, yet my coworkers say I should shoot for another color to vary it up cause people will think "oh it's your old Z06". Hmm.. So confused
I am sure many of you are sick of reading about my story as this started back a few months ago as I started to get the itch to upgrade. My father made it very clear that I don't need two vettes, and he is probably right. I already have my 03 SSR and a tahoe. Well, hopefully, someone can shed some light on the best color. I just want to make the right choice. Now all I need is a buyer for my slightly modified Z06 which gets 530 to the wheels. keep you posted and I sure hope I can get one soon to enjoy the blazing hot summer in San Antonio, TX
GO SPURS!!
thanks for reading!! tah tah

Bear in mind that your '07 Z06 is actually Victory Red, not Torch Red. So, you might want to make sure that you check out a Torch Red ZR1 in person (if you haven't looked at it yet), since it's a different color than your Z06.
You can't go wrong with any of them, but I ended up with Blade Silver and haven't looked back.

I would say white...... especially since you already have a red vette.
The bottom line for me that sets a ZR1 off really good is the grey wheels that go good with either the red or the white.
Silver has always been a favorite color of mine and I always thought I wanted a silver one with grey wheels but then when I saw that combo last week it did not work for me.
Now if you want silver then I would go with the silver wheels like JD has...... his car looks good

Thanks for the nice comment, Doug. Having come from a silver Z06 with comp grays, which I liked a lot, I continue to be surprised by how much I like the Sterling Silver wheels with Blade Silver. It's a refreshing change from what I've been used to the last 3 years, and the combo gets a lot of compliments.

Go with Silver. It highlights the car lines so well.

So many great combination's to choose from. I love the look of Cyber Grey with comp grey wheels (bad ***), but White with chrome (classic) is also tied for my all time favorite...

White looks boss with the black cabin above. It really pops. Better in person than in pics, too. Zippy's silver is a close second, really a beautiful car.
The Crystal red also looks amazing in the photos I've seen on this forum.
I've got Cyber, but the combos above are my favorites.

Wow!
That silver is nice! Such a tough decision! Yea, many of my coworkers say you had red try something different. I think I have narrowed it to silver or white. Both are very nice and really make the top distinct. That's why I really don't like blk or gry since from far away there is not contrast to the carbon fiber, but of course the wheels are the signature of the car. Well the boss (aka father) gets back next week and I'm gonna see if I can get the ok for the ZR so I can enjoy her for summer. I see no reason why I should have trouble selling my 07 Z06 with only 28k which has a sick amount of power as well with the AR headers, qm 600 cam and cold air intake I added. I think she's worth about 44-47k easily. I'm gonna take the bullets I put on my Z06 and place them on the ZR1. I like the noise!!
Thanks to all the members for all your input!
Hopefully, the next post will be that of a new ZR1!!

I think the answer is yes, but not with the 3ZR interior. So, you give up the leather stitching and other features of that interior.
