Default Katech Carbon & Black Chrome RaceMesh!

I finally got all of my Katech Carbon Fiber pieces installed today along with the Black Chrome RaceMesh.

Jason was great to deal with and I highly recommend their splitter, side skirts and rear spoiler!

In the full front view, if you paint the Racemesh grill white it would look just like Barney! Seriously, very nice job.

P.S. Can you tell that my wife babysits our 3 year old grand daughter?

Looking good! Although, I am a little biased to carbon on red.

I love the CF look and front splitter, but having "curbed" the OEM plastic splitter more than once I'm afraid I'd kill this work of art and be really pissed at myself for a long time.

I am thinking about the RaceMesh pieces though.

Very nice! That looks great! I have been mulling over the same parts for my Cyber Gray Z.. Just have to figure out how to budget for it and sell off some stuff.

If you do the chambered look on the RaceMesh like I did, tell them to leave the grating intack. The first one they sent me was cut out except for some pieces where they attached the metal grating. I thought it looked like hell. RaceMesh was great and sent me a new piece all intact just with the race mesh applied at each section over the OEM grille without any sections cut away.

Looks awesome! I recently installed the same thing but did not do the black chrome 4-chamber Racemesh (4-chamber here, but regular finish). A great looking combo, and nice to see a VR with comp grey spyders

Got any full side pics of the car - interested in the 'full' view of the comp grey spyders? Thanks!

This is the closest to a full side shot I have at the moment (2nd pic). Gotta love that Racemesh!

PS - If anyone is interested, I am selling my Apsis front splash guards in the parts section since they will no longer fit due to the side skirts. They are in perfect condition and at a great price.

I have a 2009 Cyber Grey Z and installed the black chrome race mesh. Looks great, you'll love it. Easy to install.

I've had the complete package installed for a while now on my Z. Yes, I've bumped the splitter a few times but nothing to severe. You just have to be careful and plan you exit from parking lots that have steep ramps. I even tore off one of the side skirts in a high speed spin and a run in with a curb at TWS (thanks Jason for getting me the replacement).

WOW! I added the Apsis with side skirts with no issues!

I am also partial to the CF on Red! :o

You fitted the Z06 Apsis side skirts with no issues? They will not fit with side skirts unless you modify them. This is why I bought the ZR1 side skirts. They finish above the skirt, the Z06 guards secure with the panel screw under the car. I am confused, did you modify the Apsis z06 guards or buy the ZR1 style?

Here are my NEW ZR1 Apsis guards. I sold the Z06/GS front guards to a fellow forum member.

Is that Black Chrome or Black Powercoated? Did you do the front grill and air scoop as well or just the brake ducts?

It really looks dark, perhaps it's just the way the light hits it when you took these pics? Care to enlighten us on how it looks in person?

I am considering black chrome as well. Thanks.
