Default In what direction should the slots face on DBA 4000 series rotors installed? Pics?

I know-dumb question. I just want to make sure I don't screw this one up. DOes anyone have pictures of correctly installed slotted rotors? What direction do the slots go?

Just want to make sure the slots are working to my advantage!

Thanks in advance for any help!

When I installed mine on my 06 coupe there were stickers on each rotor that indicated position.

I'll post up some photo's when I get home this afternoon.

There is no such thing as a dumb question - the only dumb question is the one you don't ask .

Here you go:

http://www.dba.com.au/node/5546

Your boxes should be marked "SL" (Left) and "SR" (Right).

Enjoy your DBA's .... they're one of my favorites.

Tom,
That's the cleanest set of wheels I've ever seen!

those wheels are filthy. water spots everywhere. those wheels are ok clean for a daily driver but far from cleanest wheels ever.

and to the OP: if ever in doubt look at the direction of the cooling fins in the rotor. they should always sweep from center going towards the back of the car. so clockwise on the drivers side and counter-clockwise on the passenger side.

Nice! Thanks Tom! I take it they made a difference for you? Did you upgrade pads at the same time?

No I used the Z51 pads. After tracking with buddies in their Z06's that had DBA's I was even more impressed. So all I did were DBA rotors, fresh OEM Z51 pads, ATE SuperBlue DOT 4 fluid and I never worried or experienced brake issues

You made a wise choice in rotors.

Cheers
