Default Need a Corvette Noselift System

Calling all vendors. Someone needs to design and sell a pneumatic nose lift system. Come on Pfadt. I know it would add weight, but it would make going over speed bumps and up driveways a lot easier. I know the C6RS, and the New Porsche GT3 have it. Sell a kit for the rest of us so the rest of the vettes can enjoy that kind of peace of mind. Techart makes a kit for all porsches.

Am i alone on this one fellas. I guess i'm on the only one that desires this type of system. If not leave comments and let's create a demand so the vendors can see the market and deliver.

Would be nice. Negatives would be as mentioned above would be extra weight... and the cost would be pretty high.

Default Keep it simple

Ok,

How about "small" pneumatic/hydraulic powered (rubber?) biscuits between front leaf spring and 'A' arm.:

I for sure will get one.... Avoids me from approaching driveways at all angles hence reducing body flex.... Potential accidents.... And I can have the nice ZR1 lip n not worry abt breaking it!!

...got this idea too - but the smallest bag is too large, too thick and heavy (Paratech KPI-1 LIFT BAG, 6x6x5/8", 2lbs)

There is a company that makes one for coilovers. I have not been able to find it in the USA. It mounts between the coil spring and spring base. It is activated with a switch inside the car. KW suspension. I need one bad for my Z. I have to remove the splitter to get up or down my driveway, It's a big pain.

Find a way to bolt in a pair of air shocks. Used to have them in the 70's to jack up the rear of hot rods and towing vehicles. I think they still make them. Not sure how the car would handle though.

I would be interested in this, as I have never had a car that rubs or bottoms out more than this one. My air dam is being eroded away every single time I come out of my drive way, and my splitter is constantly being scuffed up - good thing it's plastic.

When I hear people talk about lowering their C6Zs, I have to wonder where they live that they could actually drive the car lower than stock - it must be exceedingly flat with low crowns on roadways and extremely gentle grades on all driveways and parking lot entrances!

Far North Dallas/Plano area. Roads are all new and very flat. Parking lot entrances are mostly flat. I don't drive into the ones that arent.

My driveway is mostly flat. I enter and exit it carefully and slowly at a slight angle. No scraping.

After a while you start to know the streets, dips and driveways to avoid at all costs. And I keep a sharp look out for road hazards ahead. I never follow too close and never follow a semi truck.

It sucks, but that is the price you pay for lowering and/or having a ZR1 splitter. Lowering isnt as much the problem as that damned ZR1 splitter is.

Would be a great add on, price dependent. Could have used this last night going over a rise on a prepped road for asphalt .Lucky, just scrapped the edge of the splitter and I can sand this out.

Default Front end lift

There is one!!!! and it is really slick. They are in kits for coilover shocks only at this time. It is a hydraulic system with a dash switch to raise front end- in fact it can be installed on all four corners so it can raise whole car if wanted. I'll dig out contact info tonight and post. Really nice guy he sends kits all over world for all kinds of exotics. Very simple system. I visited his shop in League City Tx last Spring and saw install on a Ford GT. Owner/inventor is working on a system for stock leaf springs.

Is this the KW kit? I have not been able to find any info in the states for this company.
