I have not done any scientific tests but my car does seem a lot quieter with the Block-It Mat.
I installed it about a month ago, if "installed" is the right word. I placed it below my Lloyd mat. I stuck the pieces behind the seat. As soon as pulled out of my driveway I noticed the sound reduction.
I left two days later for a two week SOLO trip up the East Coast. Ahh, peace and quiet at 70 mph. The car itself was quiet too.

It wasn't that heavy. The great thing is it takes 2 minutes to install so when I goto the track I just take it out.

Just curious since I take the car out for meets and such and you just never know. As far as the track, of course, just remove it. How long is this sale going on for? I am going to replace my exhaust for a stock NPP and add the BlockIt kit as well, hoping to do all this in August. But if your sale is running out, I may need to order it now.

I am going to replace my exhaust for a stock NPP and add the BlockIt kit as well, hoping to do all this in August. But if your sale is running out, I may need to order it now.
As for the sale its good for another 2 weeks. Its kind of a "I can't make it to carlisle "sale. We sell out at shows because you can buy it there (saves ton in shipping) and use it for the ride home if they want.
So this is a little something for those who can't make it..
