Sorry for the confusion in my other thread.
I'm looking at a 2007 Z06, which the dealer says it has the 3LZ option.

I thought this was only available on the 2008 Z06's and beyond.

I believe your right! 2008 and up. No 3LZ offered in 06 or 07.

is the dash leather covered?...are the door panels leather covered...if not its a 2lz

If it's a 2007 it doesn't have any of these things...3LZ started for model year 2008.

only other option on the 07 2lz's besides two tone, nav and wheel choice was the onstar safe and sound rip off. you'll see the onstar logo on the rear view mirror.

The only possibility is if a previous owner went to the trouble to install the 3LZ leather parts himself, as kawal did.

Most of it would be pretty easy except replacing the dash.

One thing that it couple possibly be: If the dealer is a bit of an idiot, he might have looked at the build date (late 2007) and assumed it was a 2007 model and not a 2008.

I have a 2LZ 07 and it's the highest optioned minus NAV (GM's nav is not worth it). No 3LZ yet!

No. 3LZ available '08 and up.

The 2LZ Z06 option group is roughly equal to the coupe 3LT option group and many folks confuse it.

I was just ready to say the same. Not really intentional or a big lack of knowledge, just some folks/dealers are more familiar with the base coupe option designations...
