I was just talking with Rob from Gallants Automotive in MD today about this.

I never realized the Z07 and/or Carbon Z06's had the bigger radiator.

Yep. They all came with the ZR-1 radiator.

The radiators are similar but not the same. The ZR1 radiator has a quick release upper radiator hose, the Z07 radiator does not.

Agreed...a couple slight differences between the two units. Swapped in an OE ZR1 rad and oil cooler setup last year. Works great.

the z07 and zr1 radiators are identical , i have them both,and compared. the 2.
the zr1 radiator has a different hose connection where the large upper radiator hose connects. the zr1 has a plastic end that atttaches to the radiator rather than the clamp style use on ther z07.
