Well .. I searched and searched and searched .. NOTHING, not even on the Baer website.
Someone must be willing to weigh them. Anyone here?

Thanks for checking.

Baer told me they weight 17 pounds.

Just order their front and rears kits with the 6R calibers and R-Spec rotors.

Received a big discount from Kenny Brown Performance.

Will post the weight of the rotor and caliber sometime next month.

The parts above were added.
I made a few assumptions though, and for that reason I have a couple of questions.
  • Most pictures (above) show the parts with boxes or plastic bags on the scales, so I assume that the scales were tared?
  • How many Russell stainless steel brake lines weigh 465 grams, one? Two? Four?
  • The upper control arms were weighed with delrin bushings. Were the ball joints included also? (I'm not 100% sure while looking at the first picture)
  • No offense implied but a brake cooler kit would mean to me: cooling ducts + hoses + spindle ducts. Only the spindle ducts are counted, correct?

Also added were Motec Racing GT Racing wheels, front & rear.
I found these wheels on a Katech Track Attack Z06 while exploring the World Wide Web (which is something that I frequently do ). The car seems to be in Europe, not sure if it is/was Germany or Norway. I believe it has serial # 22 (see Katech Z06 club check in), but I am not 100% sure about that either.
It is/was for sale via the following website: Corvette Z06 "R" Road legal Trackday Car., and it looks as if it was modified in Europe even further.

Check out the sound, see it fly around the track, and judge for yourself how BAD *** this car really is!

The car was also spotted in Germany (and in the Netherlands), but wasn't recognized as a "Track Attack". See this link for pictures.

Spreadsheet link:
Z06 OEM and Aftermarket Parts Weight List

Note:
The spreadsheet contains an embedded file on the first page, titled "2006 Corvette Vehicle Dismantling Manual". That manual shows the weights of many more OEM parts.
Right click the icon if you want to to open it.

Yes I accounted for the boxes, it was all 4 ss lines with new retention clips, I didn't include the hose with the coolers but will when I do the install ( needs to be trimmed to fit) no ball joints in the uppers, they stay on the spindle
I have to admit I dropped the ball, last night I installed an APR v2 splitter and fiberglass fascia reinforcement but I forgot to weigh them

Never mind, your last contribution was very much appreciated.
Thanks for your clarification as well!

1st question, mainly because I am not very familiar with US metrics:
You list a weight saving of 125 pounds + 2.2 ounces (exterior) and 310 pounds + 13.6 ounces (interior).
My calculation is as follows:
Interior: 293 pounds + 226.2 ounces * 0.0625 = (293 + 14.1375) pounds = 307.14 pounds
Exterior: 116 pounds + 105.8 ounces * 0.0625 = (116 + 6.6125) pounds = 122.61 pounds
Where do I make a mistake?
2nd question - Do you know how formulas work in a spreadsheet? If you do, you don't have to perform the arithmetic yourself.

3rd question - Do you have a suggestion how we can join forces one way or another, e.g. by merging our spreadsheets?
bro my car now 2689 lbs in side is normally how many can save weight in the interior nav + airbag + a/c motor + anythings + speakers

Your weight reduction is impressive for sure.
Here are a few ideas to lose even more weight.

Very lofty goals, please keep us informed.
Not sure why you want to change / remove the dry sump system though, it's there for a reason.

Fantastic Thread! Anyone know how much a complete ECS Paxton/Novi SL 1500 supercharger and Akly COntrol single nozzle system adds to the weight of a C6 ZO6?????

2 Questions:
  • What type of racing do you plan on doing?
  • How will you combat the LSx motors oil starvation issue that the dry sump system addresses?
