Changes for 2012?
What, if any will there be to the Z06?
If we don't know now, what time in 2011 will we know?
My reason for asking is I am wondering if it would be worth holding off 3-4 months on a 2011, to order a 2012. Will there be different seat-stitching, or will they make MRC available. Real changes, or just tarting up the color-options a bit?
Will GM release 2012 data before 2011 ordering is closed?

Birthday Bash in April is usually when the any changes are announced.

I should be set to order in Feb/March of 2011. However, I would HATE to place my order to find out a month or two later I could have held off and gotten some cool new feature. Is ordering closed by Birthday Bash time?

Anyone that knows what the new features are cannot talk about it until April 2011. My guess is you will not see anything revolutionary, maybe only some small changes to options/colors. The new Z06/Z07 Carbon was the biggest change we have seen over the course of the C6 Z06.
You will do much better finacially purchasing an already built 2011 or even 2010. You can use Jeff Hardy's Corvette locator to find the exact options you want, then email the dealers that have them and ask for their best "no trade" pricing.

Excellent question since of the total 12,194 Corvettes produced in 2010, only 518 (4+%)were Z06s. In contrast, 1577 ZR1s were produced. You might want to watch Z06 sales in 2011. The possibility of phase out might be real in 2012 since the Grand Sports are selling so well. JMHO

I'm gonna wait at least 10 years. Imagine all the cool new features then!

You will always face this dilemma no matter what year you buy. Next year will always have newer and better features. Buy now or you'll miss out on 10 months of smiles.

454 LS7 in 2012 and it would be 555hp.

I know it won't be radical like this, but I can't help but hurt for the 2010 Mustang GT owners out there. I don't want a similar thing to happen to me with features like MRC, etc.

just buy it
Life's too short. No way i'd wait. Picking up my 11 zo6 today i hope. Buy one every year if you can, i do. Why not wait till you're too o.ld to put mileage on it or fit in the seat

Haha, I wish. I plan on keeping the one I buy until I pay it off and then trading it in, and going from there. I am nowhere near established enough in life to do that. Maybe in my 30's or 40's. Hence I want to make sure I buy the"best"possible one.

This is very true. Product evolution is what sells cars. Next years model will have things you want and the following year will have something else. That is what keeps people like us upgrading and spending money when we should know better.

It is only a little more than a month. If I where buying I would definitely wait. The 2011 are only going to get cheaper.
