Z06 by far
You can do a few things to a $40k car and be just as fast as a ZR1 - try tweaking on the ZR1 and see where that gets ya. 
Lets see - Supercharge a 7.0 engine or a 6.2 engine - which one is going to be better?
If you spent $8k on getting your Z06 supercharged, it would beat the ZR1.
I spent a few thousand and I am just as fast as a stock one.
Depends on the money you want to spend and what you want it for!!!

No, I own a Z06 and as I stated previously, "If money is no object, the ZR1 is the better car." I would gladly trade someone my Z06 for a ZR1.
Oh and if I do say so myself, my car is pretty sweet but would take a ZR1 without hesitation!
